Oh.My.Goodness. It has been a busy month of beautiful babies! This little guy came to see me while his mom was in town visiting one of our good friends (and past brides) I love the name Eli! Everything about him makes me smile!

I am in LOVVVVE with this little bundle. Baby “R,” or as her big brother calls her, “Lady Bug,” was an angel during her first photo shoot. I definitely need to borrow her to get my baby girl fix once in a while!

I absolutely ADORE Randi & Dane & their families, so I was honored when they asked me to photograph their wedding. These two have been together since high school, and they are seriously one of the cutest couples I have ever met or taken pictures for. The wedding was held in our hometown of North Platte, Nebraska, and couldn’t have been more beautiful…

The reception was held at The Quality Inn Convention Center, where most of the decorations were hand made by the bride and her mom. It was unbelievable how gorgeous all of the details were.

A special moment for Dane, when his cousin sent a surprise video from where he is stationed. It was very touching.

Quite possibly the hottest wedding shoes EVER!!

We did a re-creation below of big brother, Jack’s, picture.

Trying to get a teenage boy to smile NATURALLY and have fun during a photo shoot is quite a challenge! I had to tap into my inner teenager, and it was quite entertaining. Gabe and I walked around on some trails and made his session as painless as possible for him. Secretly, I think he had a lot of fun!!

Jon and I were beyond thrilled when the sister of one of our destination couples flew us out to Indiana to photograph her wedding. Miranda & Adam were married in the New Harmony Inn, a quaint little venue tucked away in the middle of rural Indiana. The weekend was filled with so much laughter and love. Here are just a few of our faves…

Working with Rob & Lauren for their wedding day was just pure fun. They are two of the nicest people I have ever met, and I truly mean that. Their beautiful wedding was held in Castle Rock at Plum Creek, where Alise and her staff do an amazing job taking care of their couples. Congrats Rob & Lauren!

This little beauty came to the studio last week to do her very first photo shoot! As exciting as that sounds to all of you, Reagan was not impressed! She ONLY wanted someone to hold her. We tried every trick in the book with not much luck! So, Reagan will be coming back to see me for Round 2 next week. We are optimistic that she will be smiling and ready to go!!!

Working with Greg and Summer for their engagement pictures was a blast…but their wedding day…now that was just straight up AWESOME! These two are some of the coolest people we have worked with. How many brides dance with their dad in the doorway before they walk down the aisle? How many couples break out a flask with whiskey in it and take a shot before the vows?
