Rob & Lauren’s Wedding…
by nealie on Aug.20, 2009, under Weddings
Working with Rob & Lauren for their wedding day was just pure fun. They are two of the nicest people I have ever met, and I truly mean that. Their beautiful wedding was held in Castle Rock at Plum Creek, where Alise and her staff do an amazing job taking care of their couples. Congrats Rob & Lauren!
Baby Reagan…
by nealie on Aug.04, 2009, under Babies
This little beauty came to the studio last week to do her very first photo shoot! As exciting as that sounds to all of you, Reagan was not impressed! She ONLY wanted someone to hold her. We tried every trick in the book with not much luck! So, Reagan will be coming back to see me for Round 2 next week. We are optimistic that she will be smiling and ready to go!!!

Fake sleeping…

Happy when daddy was holding her!

A beautiful bride…
by nealie on Aug.04, 2009, under Weddings
We take a lot of great photos brides on their wedding day, but I can’t talk enough about the importance of scheduling a bridal portrait session before or after the big day. It is a custom session centered all around YOU! You can even use some of your favorites for large bridal portrait prints to display at your wedding reception. On your wedding day, as much as we would love to have two hours with you taking all kinds of gorgeous pictures, that just isn’t going to happen!! Here are some shots from a recent bridal session I did with Charlsie…

Think of your bridal portrait session as a “dress-rehearsal” for your wedding! Call to schedule yours today & get a free mini book of all your pictures to show off or give to your hubby on wedding day!
Greg & Summer’s Wedding…
by nealie on Aug.04, 2009, under Weddings
Working with Greg and Summer for their engagement pictures was a blast…but their wedding day…now that was just straight up AWESOME! These two are some of the coolest people we have worked with. How many brides dance with their dad in the doorway before they walk down the aisle? How many couples break out a flask with whiskey in it and take a shot before the vows?

Seriously?? Too funny!

Ok, we did some serious shots too…

Studs…

This is GORGEOUS…

BTW…the owners and staff at Mount Vernon Event Center in Golden went above and beyond, making everyone happy. It was a great place to photograph.
Congrats, Greg and Summer. Thanks for sharing your day with us and for doing shots with us at the end of the night! We can’t wait to be your “lifelong photographers!!!”
Pepper-Oliver Families
by nealie on Jul.27, 2009, under Family
I am sooooooo happy when clients call me to do family pictures for them again. That means they like me…they really like me!
Wyatt’s kindergarten teacher, “Mrs. Pepper” and I met a few years ago through mutual friends, and I have since done many photo shoots with their family. We always have so much fun and get some great pics as a result…

I can’t wait for Wyatt to start kindergarten and have Mrs. Pepper for a teacher. I just pray she will still be my friend after dealing with my difficult 5-year-old all day long!!
Semryck Family

Wow, I’ve been really slacking on the blog since the whole Facebook pandemic! I’m going to catch up though…promise!!!
I had such a great time hanging out with the Semryck Family. Now, I have two boys myself, so I feel their pain when it comes to pictures! We had to be really silly and say lots of “potty talk” to get these two to laugh. That’s just what boys do, ya know?

Awwww, a rare moment of loving each other!!

I love him!

Little cutie!

Paul & Kymberlie’s Wedding…
by nealie on Jul.27, 2009, under Weddings
Rain, rain go away!! I don’t know what is going on this wedding season, but Saturdays should not include rain! I photographed Paul & Kymberlie’s wedding on July 4th at The Embassy Suites in the Tech Center. While they had a gorgeous setting picked for their outdoor wedding, the rain just did not cooperate, so it was moved indoors. Kymberlie is seriously one of the nicest girls in the WORLD & had such a great attitude about everything!! We did manage to get a little time outside after the ceremony to do some pictures…

This flower had a light behind it in their room, and I thought it looked cool!

One of my fave’s from the day…

Congrats, Paul & Kymberlie…thanks so much for having Candid be a part of your day!
Byrne Family
by nealie on Jul.27, 2009, under Family
Can I just start off by saying that I love this family? I have been working with them since their youngest daughter was born, and it means so much to me that they have stuck with Candid Photography.
I’m getting a little teary-eyed thinking about it!!!! I love all my clients and become friends with a lot of them, just one of the perks of my job. We went to an open space behind the Byrne’s house to capture these pictures…

Until next time, my friends!!

I had an action packed family shoot last week with the Bailey Family! Their two kids are extremely busy and believe me, I was dripping with sweat after their session. We had fun walking around the park and getting some very candid shots of them playing…

Thanks guys!!! I had fun seeing you all and can’t wait for our next adventure!
2010 Senior Spokesmodels…Are You Ready????
by nealie on Jul.13, 2009, under Seniors
One of the coolest things about being a Candid Spokesmodel (other than the fact that your pictures ROCK) is the chance to win an iPod Touch in September. All of my spokesmodels are busy “pimping” their 411 Cards and telling friends all about their experience with us! We LOVE working with Seniors. I think if you asked any of our spokesmodels or clients, they would say we like to have fun!! So, let’s go have some fun during your Senior Picture Session. Forget rules…we have no rules…only killer images!!!
