We finally got to shoot Daniel & Lisa’s engagement pictures, after one reschedule and another near-reschedule, both due to bad weather. But, we didn’t let the wind stop us! We had a great time walking around Cheesman Park with these two. We are soooooooo excited to be a part of their wedding day at The Hotel Monaco, as it has a special place in our hearts, since that is where Jon proposed to me almost 8 years ago now! Congratulations, Daniel & Lisa. We are so happy to be a part of your wedding day.

Well, the big day finally arrived! It seemed like we met Maegan & her mom, Sidney, so long ago when they booked us to shoot the wedding. We practically felt like part of the family by the time wedding day rolled around! It was held at The Inverness Hotel, a beautiful location for both ceremony and reception. Scott & Maegan looked radiant, and their smiles lit up the room. Maegan and most of her friends are dancers, and I mean GOOD dancers. So, needless to say, there are quite a few funny dance shots. My customary moves, like the “Roger Rabbit” or the “Worm” may not have been quite so cool at this reception!! We had such a great time with everyone, and absolutely loved watching all the girls dance. Thanks for sharing such an important part of your lives with us.

There are so many words that could describe Codey & Amy’s wedding day, but the one that comes to mind is magical. Their love is truly one of a kind. I spent most of the day with tears in my eyes, because it was such an emotional and beautiful wedding.  I can honestly say these two are now my friends, and that’s pretty darn cool! Can’t wait to go have dinner & drinks with you guys again!!!

I had the pleasure of shooting Jeremy & Jamie’s engagement pics at White Fence Farm, which is really a beautiful place. We had such a good time…had some laughs, shared some wine, took a carriage ride. Sometimes I think to myself, “Is this really my JOB?” One of the best parts about being in the photography business is meeting such cool people, and these two are definitely cool! Thanks for such a great time and congratulations on your upcoming wedding day.

I photographed the athletes during “Tri the Rock” here in Castle Rock last weekend.  What an unbelievable event for local kids and parents!  There were multiple times that I got teary-eyed watching all of the proud parents reactions and the huge smiles on the kids faces when they finished the race.  I can’t wait for my kids to be old enough to be a part of this day.  Thanks to all of the volunteers who helped make this year’s “Tri the Rock” so wonderful.

Jon and I feel so lucky to have been a part of Bill & Jackie’s day. What an unbelievable couple they are. Nice, down to earth, and funny…actually HILARIOUS! We had so much fun with them, their family and friends. Some of our favorite pictures include their dogs (aka their kids). They are sooooo cute. We hope they have a wonderful, relaxing honeymoon in the Bahamas. We can’t wait to hang out with them when they return!

We shot an amazing wedding at Plum Creek Golf Course in Castle Rock. Although it started out as a cold, windy day, we were blessed with a beautiful evening. Some of our favorite pictures of John & Carla were at the end of the evening on the golf course, with “The Rock” behind them. We could win awards with these shots, if I do say so myself!! Thanks for a wonderful day. John & Carla, congratulations to you both.

These two definitely keep me on my toes! This was our second shoot with Carter and Maddie, and what a couple of firecrackers they are!! I just want to share what their mom wrote to me after seeing the pictures, because her words meant so much to me:

“OH MY GOSH!!! YOU DID IT AGAIN, what amazing photos you shot. I am going to have the hardest time choosing, but I am so happy to have this problem. I love so many of them! I never have faith in my children’s behavior when it comes to pictures, but I will always have faith in your talent and what you can do.”

Well, what can we say about this day, except that it was a “shocking” good time!! Bill & Jackie, you guys are amazing. We had such a blast with the two of you, and can’t wait for your wedding. See you soon.
